Historians, artists, curators, and memory practitioners from across Europe gathered at the House of European History on 18 November 2025, for a day of dialogue, critical reflection, and exchange on the legacies of fascist and military dictatorships in Spain, Portugal, and Greece. The event “Legacies of Souther European Dictatorships: 50 years later” was jointly organised by the European Observatory on Memories (EUROM), the House of European History, the Spanish Ministry of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory, and the Ministry of Culture, as part of the commemoration “Spain in Freedom. 50 Years”.
