The second edition of the Ventotene-Houjarray School on European Memories will address the history and memory of the European Elections, highlighting its main facts and figures, as well as the engagement of social movements and citizenry on the ten campaigns celebrated between 1979 and 2024. The Spring Sessions of the seminar will take place from May 8 to 11, 2024, at the Jean Monnet House in Bazoches-sur-Guyonne (France) and will gather 25 youngsters from different European countries.
Through lectures, workshops and hands-on activities, participants will be acquainted with state-of-the-art research related to the European Elections and will gain tools for raising awareness on Europe’s past as the key towards informed choices for the present and future. The detailed programme will be communicated to the participants in due course.
The Summer sessions of the School will be held on the island of Ventotene (Italy), in September 2024.
