In the framework of the commemorations of the 80th anniversary of the Spanish Civil War, the European Observatory on Memories (EUROM) and the Public Diplomacy Council of Catalonia (Diplocat) organized a seminar at the Imperial War Museum to discuss the shared experiences of Catalonia and the United Kingdom under fascist bombardments.
The seminar concluded with visits to the Imperial War Museum and the Bethnal Green disaster site, where the ‘Stairway to Heaven Memorial Trust‘ charity started to build a memorial in 2007.
