Since the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939), Franco’s dictatorship intensified efforts to gain international recognition and normalization. This collection examines various forms of exchange and propaganda that circulated between Francoist Spain and the world—through sports, culture, diplomacy, and both official and covert relations—all aimed at shaping the regime’s image abroad and ending its isolation.
