A grou of fifteen historians from different countries have analyzed this week in Barcelona how to explain the massacres, genocides and other atrocities in schools. The seminar was organized by the European Observatory on Memories with the aim to provide teaching tools that allow teachers to properly explain these disasters. The way Francoism and the Civil War are taught in our country have been some of the examples quoted by historians of what should be improved.
