Conference presentations and discussion on the role of women in the process of recovering historical and democratic memory, with a special focus on Roma women. With the participation of the Commission Gender and Memory (Comissió Gènere i Memòria) and the platform for a future memorial for the women prison of Les Corts. During the activity assistants will be able to visit the exhibition “Porrajmos: the Nazi genocide of the Roma“.
Organized in collaboration with the Federation of Gypsy Associations of Catalonia (FAGiC) and IG Kultur (Austria) within the european project “Today’s challenges for Roma women influenced by historical development“.
