The Solsonès County Council and the Lacetan Studies Centre, in collaboration with EUROM, are hosting a one-day event on the memory and history of deportation. The program includes a roundtable discussion presenting the latest research on local deportees to Nazi camps, followed by a debate on Catalan experiences of deportation with historians Rosa Toran and Jordi Guixé.
The event will also mark the opening of the exhibition “Mauthausen: The Universe of Horror” in Solsona. To conclude the day, actress Maria Pla will perform the monologue “36+1” at the Tatrau Teatre.
