Working Sites of Memory
On November 26-27 EUROM participates on a working session at the Université de Lyon 3 to discuss the construction, reconstruction and deconstruction of memory through a reflection on the testimonies and places that reveal it. The colloque will bring together researchers from different disciplines and countries, and is an opportunity to lead a reflection on memory and memorable, focusing particularly to places which “materialize” this memory and its permanent metamorphosis.
The symposium is part of a transdisciplinary approach bringing together various actors around the memory-related questions, including researchers with backgrounds in disciplines such as philosophy, law, literature, history, languages, political sciences, anthropology, sociology, economics, architecture and psychoanalysis. It is also a collaborative activity between French and European institutions with universities from Brazil and Argentina.
