The platform named Fem Nostre l’Espai de La Model (Let’s take La Model prison precinct) organizes a protest party at the corner of La Model prison in Barcelona. The event will take place on May 29, from 12,00 to 14,00 as part of the participatory process to transform this penitentiary, which is planned to be evicted in 2017.
A series of cultural and social activities have been organized by civil society groups involved in the process, that wish to transform the site into public gardens, social facilities and a memorial space to honour those who suffered political repression in this prison.
