“An unfinished place. Memory site, Women’s Prison Monument in Les Corts” (Publications of the University of Valencia, 2022) documents the ongoing and collaborative process that has been unfolding since 2006 to create a network of activities aimed at understanding and transmitting the history of repression at the Les Corts Women’s Prison in Barcelona. The book will be introduced by its three authors, Núria Ricart, Jordi Guixé, and Fernando Hernández Holgado, in a conversation with Matilde Eiroa San Francisco, a Professor at Carlos III University of Madrid. The event will take place at the Municipal Library Iván de Vargas in Madrid on June 8, 2023, at 6:30 pm. Admission is free.
