The Association Future of Education of the Region of Murcia is urnning the 6th “Our Future Is Our History” Competition, aimed at promoting research and knowledge of Spain’s historical memory from the dictatorship of Primo de Rivera to the end of the transition period.
Competition Rules
The competition is open nationwide and eligible participants include:

Individuals residing in or born in Spain

Those who have studied at academic institutions in Spain

Descendants of the Spanish Republican exile from anywhere in the world, provided they can duly demonstrate this connection
Theme
All submissions must focus on Spain’s historical memory during the period from Primo de Rivera’s dictatorship to the end of the transition.
Languages
Submissions in any of Spain’s official languages are accepted, provided a Spanish translation is included to facilitate evaluation by the jury. Submissions in other languages are also allowed if pedagogically or thematically relevant, with a corresponding translation included.
Categories and Modalities
Category A

Secondary and high school students, and young people under 20 years of age.
Category B
-
University students and young people under 40 years of age.

Researchers and authors under 40 whose work has not been previously published.
This competition is a unique opportunity to reflect on our recent history and contribute to the understanding of historical memory, bringing it closer to new generations.
