Digitalization and Innovation for Cultural Heritage

Open Forum of the Buzludzha Project Foundation

The EUROM will take part in the open forum “Digitalization and Innovation for Cultural Heritage”, organized by the Buzludzha Project Foundation from 16–18 April 2026 in Bulgaria. The event will present the results of the international project “Developing an Inclusive Process for Communicating Contested Heritage,” funded by the EU’s Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) programme.

Held on the occasion of the World Heritage Day (18 April), the Forum brings together institutions, experts, and civil society actors to discuss innovative approaches to safeguarding immovable cultural heritage. This edition focuses on digitalization as a tool for documentation and audience engagement, including the premiere of the digital twin of the Buzludzha Monument.
