The third event of our annual seminar on subaltern memories explored the historical context of disability and the need for inclusive memorialization, serving as a call to remember, reflect, and advocate for a more inclusive society. For centuries, people with disabilities have faced discrimination, stigma, and exclusion, from ancient times to the present. Supported by the European Commission’s CERV program, the one-day conference was held on June 18, 2024, in the Ramon y Cajal room at the University of Barcelona.
