In the framework of the X Festival of Philosophy Barcelona Pensa, the EUROM proposes a mature reflection on the memory conflicts of contemporary Spain based on the exhibition curated by Germán Labrador this same year.
How and from where do we talk about political violence and resistance? What colonial and dictatorial accounts and facts are part of the DNA of our democracy?
The event will count with interventions by Germán Labrador (Museum Nacional Centro d’Art Reina Sofia), Marta Marin-Dòmine (Wilfrid Laurier University, Canada) and Jordi Guixé (EUROM), and will be moderated by Professor Nuria Ricart (University of Barcelona, Faculty of Fine Arts).
