Memory, art, tourism and heritage

Summer Course

Memory is a cultural commonplace for the most innovative researches in the field of Arts and Humanities, with an important academic and professional projection. The different ways to deal with it make of memory an interdisciplinary topic of interest not only for for historians, anthropologists and sociologists, but also for artists, curators, architects and journalists, for example.

During this summer course we will explore how the uses of memories are affecting heritage and art through a 
national and international perspective, such as the increasing of an ethical tourism linked to memory an opportunity for an interesting debate.
