The aim of the round table “Public space, gender and memory” is to reflect the dimension of memory in the public space of the city adding the gender perspective to the debate. The panel will highlight the views of women architects, urban planners and historians in order to generate a dialogue about the past, the present and the proposals concerning public policies in the public memory.
The table was composed by the architects Zaida Muixi and Olga Tarrasó ; the art historian Carmen Grandas, the historian and Commissioner of Programs Memory of Barcelona’s City Council Ricard Vinyes Richard ; the Housing Councilor and architect Josep Maria Montaner and the architect Julian Bonder (Wodzicko+Bonder) ; and will be moderated by the professor of Fine Arts of the University of Barcelona Nuria Ricart and presented by the director of EUROM, professor Jordi Guixé.
